Pure Veteran Pellets is our feed for senior horses in pellet form. When mixed with water it forms a soft mash which is perfect for older horses with particularly poor dentition. It contains elevated levels of minerals and vitamins which older horses often require. With slow-release calories and good quality protein it helps older horses who require extra assistance maintaining condition or are still in regular work. Pure Veteran Pellets incorporate a balancer making them very good value for money.

We have formulated Pure Veteran Pellets to include higher levels of vitamins and minerals to counter this. This feed also contain slow-release calories to help maintain condition. It provides sources of quality protein which are easily digested to help maintain muscle tone and topline.
Pure Veteran Pellets are low in starch and sugar so are ppropriate for horses with Cushingâs and those that have suffered with laminitis.
Because Pure Veteran Pellets have a balancer designed for senior horses, they contain everything your horse nutritionally requires. This makes them convenient to buy and convenient to feed.
The Pure Veteran Pellets must be soaked with water prior to feeding. Soak two parts water to one part feed until a soft mash is formed. Using hot water will speed up the process, but feed should be served cold. Allow up to one hourâs soaking time.
Feeding rate:
400-600g per 100kg body weight per day depending on condition and work done
